How to Use Neuragen and NeuraGEL

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Neuragen® is a topical homeopathic drug designed for effective, temporary relief from pain that is described as shooting, burning, tingling, or stabbing, especially in the hands and feet. The painful area may also be highly sensitive to touch.

Unless otherwise directed by your health care professional, apply a few drops to the affected area several times a day or as needed (this is usually the area of maximum pain, but in some types of nerve damage such as sciatica or post surgical nerve damage, the affected area is the location of the nerve damage itself, i.e. low back in sciatica). Use no more than 4 times daily.

See a health care professional if symptoms persist or worsen, or if new symptoms develop. Shooting, burning pain in the toes and hands can be signs of diabetic neuropathy or other forms of neuropathy. See a health care professional on a regular basis if you are diabetic, or if you suspect you are diabetic.

Neuragen is concentrated – apply only a few drops. Applying more than a few drops at a time may not improve effectiveness. You should apply enough to cover the affected area. Massage in lightly; deep rubbing is not necessary. For efficient application to wider areas, we recommend diluting 4–5 drops of Neuragen in 1 tablespoon of a suitable massage or carrier oil (such as mineral or baby oil), prior to application. The 0.5oz large Neuragen also comes with a spray head for convenient use on larger areas - remove the dropper stop prior to screwing on the spray head.

NeuraGEL® is a convenient no-drip gelled form of Neuragen, but it is not as highly concentrated due to the gelling process. Upon first application you may experience fast relief - usually within 10–20 minutes.

Applying Neuragen after a warm shower or bath may provide quicker and longer lasting relief. If relief is not experienced with the first application, this does not mean that Neuragen will not work for you. You should repeat the application over a period of three days.

The time period of relief varies from less than an hour to several days, depending on the type and extent of pain. You may need to reapply Neuragen several times a day or at bedtime, as required. Please experiment to find out what works best for you.

Neuragen has a unique floral aroma due to its base of natural plant extracts. The aroma usually does not cause allergic sensitivities like synthetic perfumes, but persons with known allergies to aromatic compounds or with environmental sensitivities should not use this product. Neuragen does not numb the area of application and can be applied up to 4 times per day. It can be used in combination with prescription drugs without known drug interactions. Neuragen is not recommended for muscular pain or arthritis, unless at least one of the following symptoms are present; shooting, tingling, prickling, or burning pain or sensitivity to touch.

For topical use only, do not take internally. Do not use on broken skin. Discontinue use if skin irritation develops. Avoid use near the eyes. Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. If pregnant or breast feeding, consult a health care professional before use. May stain some fabrics or furniture finishes. Do not use if tamper evident seal is broken.
